The New WILLGO Lever Propelled Wheelchair

 

The Willgo gives you all the advantages of a lightweight rigid frame wheelchair but with the addition of a lever driven transmission.  This enables the user to manoeuvre over most surfaces faster and over longer distances with less effort.  The other significant benefit being that the wrist remains relatively fixed and the torso rests against the backrest resulting in reduced risk of wrist and back related problems.

 

 

 

Handles lock forward to aid transit in a vehicle and assist sideways transfers.

Anti-Roll back feature
built in to pulley hub
to assist with ascending  slopes resulting in reduced energy loss

Single action drive engagement lever situated in the center of the rear wheel

Height adjustable footrest with integral calf strap

Parking Brakes are fitted for use during Transit.

Bicycle type Brake levers mounted onto the Handles prevent friction burns when slowing, turning, and stopping.

Hydraulic disc brakes to ensure controlled slowing down and stopping when transmission engaged
