Walkers / Rollators
Walkers and rollators are fundamental aids for all ages who need mobility assistance. Walkers have two purposes: to help in rehabilitating injured users and to allow users with permanent disabilities the ability to move without aid. Using these mobility aids can extend independence and the ability to move around indoors and outside with greater ease. Both walkers and rollators provide support for people to avoid fatigue or those who need help supporting body weight. Traditional walkers need to be lifted while more advanced rollators come with safety features and wheels allowing you to roll freely indoors and outdoors.
Walkers & Walker Accessories:

Most walkers have the same basic design for their intended purpose consisting of four legs and a lightweight frame that wraps around a person. Walkers allow a person to place more weight on their arms supporting users with balance or mobility problems. Most medical walkers can be adjusted to accommodate people of different heights and weights.
Many of these units fold making them easy to travel with convenience. Walker accessories like baskets, wheels, flip trays, and wheels add to convenience and make your walker more versatile.

Rollators:
There are many advantages to rollators that offer additional features making them more versatile and easier to manoeuvre. Four-wheel rollators offer stability and have the added feature of a seat and locking handbrakes for security while sitting. Spring loaded brakes are a significant safety feature allowing users to control their rollator on steep and uneven surfaces, while maintaining control over body position and mobility. The front wheels swivel allowing you to easily turn without having to lift the walker or adjust its direction. Rollators have a backrest and a wire or nylon basket making them convenient and comfortable. Rollators offer various seat heights and widths with handle height adjustments allowing each individual to be comfortably fitted. Rollators can have either 5”, 6”, 7” or 8” wheels – the larger wheels are easier to push over uneven terrain
